SALES and Business Development Manager – Wind Industry India

Headquartered in Vienna, Austria, we offer a wide range of services worldwide that are mainly based on Ventus patents; these include Rotor Condition Monitoring, Drone Inspections, nacelle-based LiDAR Measurements, Static and Dynamic Blade Pitch Angle Verification using high-speed camera technology, End-of-Warranty & Taking-Over inspections (EOW & TO) and Dissolved Gas Analysis.  

Our multinational team of highly specialized professionals from over 16 countries can identify and analyze possible scenarios in order to recommend the best solution to meet customer objectives.

We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager with a good network in the Wind Energy industry in India.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the first point of contact for Ventus clients in India and Take full ownership of an end-to-end sales cycle
• Analyze and understand customer needs, identify and develop new customers, prospect, retain and grow existing key clients portfolio
• Manage sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls and meeting agreed sales goals
• Draw up/submit commercial offers, negotiate, convert the offers into orders, and where necessary involve Ventus colleagues
• Report into the CRM system all information regarding customer visits, opportunities, offers, orders, etc.
• Collaborate with other sales associates to work cross border in multiple regions and continue the development of best practices and new prospecting techniques
• Cooperate with Marketing department to contribute to and participate in the marketing activities

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed education in business administration, technical sales, engineering, wind energy
• Min 5+ years of experience in business development in the wind industry, with proven track record and strong network
• Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Dedication to providing great customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, other regional languages would be a plus
• Detail oriented, organized, proactive and energetic person with a strong sales and business acumen
